– A minimum of two training sessions per month
Training sessions are every Tuesday and Thursday from 17:30 – 19:00pm and Sundays from 10:00am – 12:00pm.
– One weekend a month voluntary duty in designated squad
(Duty hours are from 13:30 – 18:00pm on Saturdays and 9:30am – 18:00pm on Sundays and public holidays)
If unable to attend voluntary duty, a substitute from another squad must be found. If no effort is made to find a substitute, AWOL hours will be given which will need to be made up at a rate of 1.5 times the hours missed. A person with AWOL hours needs to make up their hours during another squad’s duty weekend and the squad leader on duty needs to be notified before hand.
To qualify to compete at SA champs:
– must compete at a minimum of 1 local competition (e.g comp 1) plus WP champs
– must have a minimum of 20hrs of voluntary duty
– must have no AWOL hours
Club craft/boards are to be used for training purposes only and any dings must be reported to the craft manager immediately.
